DESCRIPTION:BECOME PART OF HERO’S FOUNDATION \nHealing at English River Outfitters (HERO) is a charitable non-profit hunting\, camping and fishing establishment designed by Veterans for Veterans and their families. By purchasing a brick\, you are visually allowing Veterans who are disabled or struggling with PTSD\, TBI or MST to see who care about their being. This helps in their healing. \nThese bricks will be used on the front\, bottom portion of the foundation wall of the new lodge. This allows donors to become the support of the foundation of HERO\, literally. We ask you share a short story about the people who you have placed on the brick. This will be part of a bigger project. Anyone can purchase a brick and at this time\, are not limited to a certain amount. \n\nThe faint highlights of purple on the building in the photo is approximate locations of the bricks. A 4×8 Brick is $50 and 8×8 brick is $100. Please follow the instructions on the form. We have plenty of room for you to honor\, memorialize\, call out\, or make your support of HERO known.

DESCRIPTION:We will be walking from Middletown to Mount Pleasant on Sunday September 22. It will be starting at 7:00am to approx 3:00pm.\nMeet at the Iowa National Guard Armory in Middltown. After brief remarks and check in\, we will walk down HWY 34 for the 22-mile walk. Water and fruit will be provided. We will be ending at the National Guard Armory in Mt. Pleasant\, IA. \nWe do ask you pre-register for the even via the secure link in this event. this will allow us for easy check in the day of. \nNo cost to park vehicles. Support vehicles will be available for the entirety of the walk\, walk as little or as much as you want. Support vehicles will take walkers back to their cars at the end. \nNo cost to participate in this event. A free will donation of the participant’s choice is greatly appreciated\, but there is not recommended donation. \nAll money collected goes to supporting the Veterans who participate in HERO activities.
