DESCRIPTION:We will be walking from Middletown to Mount Pleasant on Sunday September 22. It will be starting at 7:00am to approx 3:00pm.\nMeet at the Iowa National Guard Armory in Middltown. After brief remarks and check in\, we will walk down HWY 34 for the 22-mile walk. Water and fruit will be provided. We will be ending at the National Guard Armory in Mt. Pleasant\, IA. \nWe do ask you pre-register for the even via the secure link in this event. this will allow us for easy check in the day of. \nNo cost to park vehicles. Support vehicles will be available for the entirety of the walk\, walk as little or as much as you want. Support vehicles will take walkers back to their cars at the end. \nNo cost to participate in this event. A free will donation of the participant’s choice is greatly appreciated\, but there is not recommended donation. \nAll money collected goes to supporting the Veterans who participate in HERO activities.
