Safe Harbor Spring Fishing Camp

Coastal North Carolina | Weekend of May 30, 2026 (Specific dates TBD)

Healing at English River Outfitters (HERO) is proud to partner with Safe Harbor Outdoors to host a Spring Fish Camp in Coastal North Carolina during the week of May 20, 2026 (exact dates to be announced). This experience is designed to provide active-duty service members and Iowa veteran residents with a restorative, mission-free environment built around fishing, fellowship, and time to reset.

The trip includes: Lodging, meals, multiple days of inshore, at least one (1) day off offshore fishing with the founder (weather and sea conditions permitting), peer support and dedicated downtime. No gear or fishing experience is required.

This opportunity is available exclusively to current active military members and veterans who are Iowa residents.

One participant will be selected by drawing on April 30, 2026.

Selected participants will be contacted with additional details regarding travel coordination, packing recommendations, and trip logistics.
