Great Lakes Fishing Trip – Hosted by HERO & WWUW
Join us for an unforgettable Great Lakes fishing experience designed exclusively for veterans. This trip offers an opportunity to get away, connect with fellow veterans, and enjoy world-class fishing on Lake Michigan.
Trip Details:
- Event Date: June 27, 2026
- Departure from HERO Lodge: June 26, 2026 (time TBD)
- Return to HERO Lodge: Evening of June 28, 2026
- Location: Port Washington, Wisconsin
- Charter: Iverson Sportfishing
- Veterans Selected: 4 participants (random drawing)
- Drawing Date: June 8, 2026
What to Expect:
Selected veterans will meet at the HERO Lodge on Friday, June 26th, and travel together via rental van to Port Washington, WI. Lodging accommodations will be provided for the group.
Fishing will take place aboard a professional charter on Lake Michigan, targeting lake trout and salmon. Depending on weather and conditions, the trip will include either:
- One full day of fishing on Saturday, June 27th, or
- Two half-day trips on the mornings of June 27th and June 28th
After the trip concludes, all participants will return together to the HERO Lodge, arriving the evening of June 28th.
